MFMac champions Scottish drinks industry through Fife Whisky Festival sponsorship

MFMac, one of the big four independent Scottish law firms, is championing Scottish Whisky as a key sponsor of the Fife Whisky Festival 2025.

MFMac has sponsored the festival since its inception in 2018 and the continuation of the partnership reinforces its commitment to Scotland's world-renowned whisky industry.

The festival, taking place from 28th February to 2nd March, will bring over 30 distilleries and many industry professionals and whisky enthusiasts to Fife for a celebration of Scotland's national spirit.

The partnership has grown from Euan Duncan’s, Partner within MFMac’s Media, Manufacturing & Technology team, extensive experience in the spirit drinks sector. Euan was previously in-house counsel with the Scotch Whisky Association where he advised on the global protection of Scotch whisky and now he and his colleagues work with many spirit drinks companies.

Euan Duncan said: “As a longstanding supporter of Scotland's iconic food and drink sector, we are committed to fostering growth and innovation within the sector. The Scotch Whisky industry not only contributes more than £7bn to the UK economy but also serves as a vital bridge between local heritage and global markets. It’s wonderful to see the Festival grow year on year and it sells out within days.”

Neil Kennedy, COO of MFMac, added: “MFMac has a strong history of working with the Scottish food and drink sector and we are proud to be supporting the Fife Whisky Festival. Our longstanding support for this fantastic event has been a real pleasure and we are delighted to do all that we can to preserve and celebrate Scotland's rich whisky heritage.”
