June is Pride month, and this year's festivities will be extra special as we are able to celebrate together in person once again.
Throughout the month, running up to Pride Weekend on 25 and 26 June, we will be joining with friends, clients and the community to reaffirm our commitment to being as inclusive an organisation as we can possibly be.
We'll be taking to the streets together to 'Walk With Pride', reconnecting with each other at events and coffee mornings, and collaborating with friends from beyond Morton Fraser to spread awareness and share experiences through the prism of Pride.
We will take time to reflect on the progress that has been made so far, whilst acknowledging the changes yet to be made to ensure everybody - across the entire LGBTIQA+ community - feels truly seen, heard and valued.
While we continue our efforts to encourage and actively promote diversity, inclusion and belonging, we are reminded that people all over the world are still being persecuted for who they are. We have made progress, but there are still many barriers and challenges faced by the community - and within the legal profession, we still have more work to do.
We support the right of all people to live their lives without fear and support those who are still seeking to be accepted. Diversity and inclusion has always been at the heart of our firm, and that's why we continue to foster an inclusive and open work culture, through our policies and initiatives, so that everyone can be themselves and reach their full potential.
We've always been proud to be an inclusive employer - learn more about our people and approach.
