Jack works in our highly-rated Succession and Tax Planning team, dealing with a wide variety of Private Client work.

Jack joined the firm in 2013 as a trainee and qualified into the Private Client team in September 2015. 

He specialises in tax-efficient estate and succession planning for individuals and families through lifetime planning and the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney, as well as assisting those with more specialised planning requirements. Jack also advises on the settlement and management of trusts, and the administration of complex estates.  

Jack is a Notary Public and a student member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. He also acts as Secretary to the Board of Trustees of the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland.

My parents died within weeks of each other, shifting family relationships in a way that was often distressing. Looking after the estates was a more complex process than I had envisaged.
