Heating our homes and buildings currently accounts for 30% of Scotland’s total energy consumption, which is why decarbonising heat is essential in tackling climate change and ensuring Scotland reaches its aim of becoming a net-zero country by 2045.
As world leaders and negotiators gather in Glasgow for COP26 to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, it is even more pertinent that we scrutinise transport and infrastructure in Scotland to support electric vehicles.
According to recent data, nearly two thirds of homes in the UK fail to meet long-term targets to be energy efficient. The UK recently passed legislation which requires that the country has net zero carbon emissions by 2050 and, unless we prioritise having energy efficient materials in our buildings, this target will not be met.
From our offices we serve the whole of Scotland, as well as clients around the world with interests in Scotland. Please complete the form below, and a member of our team will be in touch shortly.
