Paul is a partner in our Corporate team with over 15 years of experience in advising clients, in both the private and public sector, on a wide range of Corporate law matters including business and share acquisitions and disposals, share buybacks, joint ventures, corporate restructures, partnerships, commercial contracts and corporate governance (including directors' duties).
His expertise covers a number of sectors including healthcare, food and drink, retail, professional services and technology. Paul also regularly advises on cross-border Corporate matters, working closely with legal counsel in other jurisdictions to ensure clients receive a high level of service.
In addition, Paul is a member of the firm's Sports law team and has significant experience in advising both individuals and organisations involved in Scottish sport. He was previously a non-executive director of Scottish Hockey and is currently the legal adviser to Scottish Gymnastics.
Paul is a non-executive director of West Lothian Chamber of Commerce.
It's World Bicycle Day on 3 June and I have a confession to make. I haven't owned a bicycle since my (much) younger self regularly explored the quiet back roads of the picturesque Carse of Gowrie near Dundee on my sleek, and reliable, silver Peugeot mountain bicycle.
