Rebecca McAvoy

Rebecca joined Morton Fraser in 2021 as a trainee and qualified into the Private Client team in August 2023.

Rebecca advises on a range of private client matters, including succession and inheritance tax planning, and the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney for families and individuals.

Rebecca also advises executors and beneficiaries in relation to deceased persons' estates. Rebecca realises this can be a difficult time for families, and aims to give clear and timely advice to ensure the administration runs as smoothly as possible.

Rebecca is also involved in the running of several charitable trusts administered by Morton Fraser.

Rebecca graduated from the University of Aberdeen with a First Class LLB Law with English Law degree in 2020. She then went on to complete the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Edinburgh in 2021.
